Phyna bags N50m, brand-new car after knocking out Nkechi Blessing
Phyna, the winner of the Big Brother Naija Level Up edition, claimed a prize of 50 million naira and a new car following her victory over actress Nkechi Blessing in a celebrity boxing match. The bout concluded with a fourth-round technical knockout on October 1 at the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos, part of Balmoral Promotions’ “Chaos in the Ring” event.
After the match, Phyna celebrated her win by sharing photos of herself with her championship belt. Reflecting on her transition from reality television to boxing, she expressed her desire to challenge herself and defy expectations.
“From reality TV to the boxing ring, I’ve always been willing to challenge myself, break barriers and prove that there is so much more to Phyna than what people see,” she stated.
Additionally, Phyna dedicated her victory to women who have faced limitations and doubted their abilities. She said, “This one is for every woman who has ever been told she couldn’t. We can, we will, and we absolutely should.”
