Phyna calls out Ashmusy for pushing for her removal from multi-million naira boxing deal

Former “Big Brother Naija” winner Phyna has publicly accused fellow content creator Ashmusy of attempting to have her removed from a lucrative boxing deal.

In a video shared on Instagram Thursday, Phyna detailed her experience, stating that a boxing organization contacted her in February 2026 to discuss a celebrity boxing match. She noted the organizers sought her recommendations for potential opponents.

Phyna claimed she approached Ashmusy and facilitated a connection with the boxing company for negotiations. However, after Ashmusy accepted the deal, Phyna alleged that Ashmusy advised the organizers to exclude her from the event.

“Ashmusy, you’re evil,” Phyna said in the video, explaining that the boxing company had invited her to fight against an opponent from Ghana but that Ashmusy later cited a scheduling conflict due to a wedding on the day of the fight.

Phyna recounted her communication with the organizers, stating, “I was just contributing and giving names of people that I think they should reach out to.” She went on to explain that on August 19, she had suggested Ashmusy as a participant and was subsequently told by the organizers to contact her.

After making the introduction through a three-way call, Phyna accused Ashmusy of not responding to her calls or messages following her agreement to the deal, claiming that Ashmusy has since urged the organizers to replace her.

“You are taking food from my mouth, Ashmusy; you are a bad person,” she added. “You’re telling them to remove the person who brought the job to you.”
