Police arrest 33yr old drug baron in Delta, recover large quantities of drugs
33-Year-Old Drug Baron Arrested in Delta State
WARRI, Nigeria — Anti-Crime Patrol operatives of the Orerokpe Division arrested a 33-year-old drug suspect in a raid on a drug hideout in Ugolo community on April 15, 2026.
The operation took place at approximately 10:23 p.m. The suspect, identified as Justina Onokpasa, is presently in police custody.
Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, confirmed the arrest in a statement released Saturday. Edafe detailed that during the raid, officers recovered significant quantities of suspected illegal substances, including two large bags of what is believed to be Canadian loud, three hundred small cans of a similar substance, and thirty bottles of CSC codeine. Additionally, the operatives seized sachets of tramadol, ‘Super Royal’ (Redboy), and Swinol, along with twelve pieces of molly drugs and four hundred empty distribution cans.
SP Edafe stated that the investigation is ongoing and that the suspect remains in custody.
