One notable operation conducted by the Anti-Kidnapping Squad resulted in the recovery of a stolen vehicle from a suspect identified as Sulaiman in Katsina State. Police said Sulaiman claimed to have purchased the car for N7.5 million. Investigations into the matter are ongoing.

In a separate incident, police arrested two individuals following the theft of a Toyota Hiace minibus from Singer Market on October 5. The vehicle, registered as NSR 261 XB, belonged to Isah Abdullahi of Bachirawa Quarters in the Ungogo Local Government Area of Kano State.

Employing technical support, officers tracked the minibus to a remote area in Mariri Magadawa, Kumbotso Local Government Area. There, they apprehended Abubakar Umar, 23, and Mustapha Zubairu Abdullahi, 25, both of whom are local residents. The stolen vehicle was subsequently recovered from the suspects.
