Preseason: Man Utd’s squad to play Wrexham confirmed
New Manchester United Signing Andrey Santos Set for Pre-Season Debut
Andrey Santos, Manchester United’s latest acquisition, has been named to the pre-season squad for the upcoming match against Wrexham, scheduled for Saturday in Helsinki. The 22-year-old Brazilian midfielder’s £50 million transfer to Old Trafford was officially confirmed last week.
In preparation for the match, Santos has been training with his new teammates. However, fellow newcomers Karl Darlow and Benjamin Sesko are not included in the squad, as the club has announced they will remain at Carrington to focus on regaining full fitness.
Youri Tielemans, who completed a £36 million transfer from Aston Villa earlier this week, will also not participate in the game. The Belgian midfielder is currently on a break after competing in the World Cup.
The roster features a mix of young players, many of whom spent last season on loan, as Michael Carrick prepares for his return to the club following the World Cup.
