Psquare: ‘Anyone who can divert his brother’s funds, can kill him’ – Izu Obasi

Social Media Commentator Weighs in on Okoye Brothers Feud
Social media commentator Izu Obasi has entered the ongoing dispute between the Okoye brothers, suggesting that anyone capable of allegedly misappropriating funds from a sibling and publicly denying it could engage in even more severe actions.
In a viral video, Obasi remarked, “Anyone who can betray and divert his brother’s funds can kill him if the need arises.” His comments have sparked renewed discussions on various social media platforms regarding the rift involving former P-Square members Peter and Paul Okoye, along with their elder brother, Jude Okoye.
The familial crisis has remained in public focus due to allegations of financial misconduct and disputes over royalties and company funds. Notably, Peter Okoye, known as Mr. P, has accused Jude Okoye, the group’s former manager, of excluding him from key financial decisions and earnings.
Jude Okoye has consistently denied any wrongdoing, while legal proceedings related to the allegations continue in court.
In addressing the controversy, Obasi emphasized that betrayal within a family can be more painful than conflicts involving outsiders. His statement has resonated with many online, although it has also polarized fans. Some support Peter’s claims, while others contend that the brothers should resolve their issues privately.
As the discussion unfolds, numerous fans express disappointment over the longstanding feud among one of Africa’s most celebrated music families, despite previous attempts at reconciliation. Obasi concluded, “Family disputes hit differently when money and trust are involved.”
