Remote stopped picking my calls after fame – Rapindady [VIDEO]

Nigerian comedian and master of ceremonies Jolomi Rapheal Oluwafemi, widely known as Rapindady, has publicly accused fellow content creator Mr. Remote of neglecting their friendship since achieving fame.

In a recent interview shared on social media, Rapindady discussed his relationship with Mr. Remote, who previously lived with him during a period of housing difficulties. When asked about their current interactions, Rapindady stated, “Alagbara ma niyen ni tie,” suggesting a sense of disappointment over the situation.

Rapindady elaborated on his support for Mr. Remote, recalling the time he offered him shelter when he faced accommodation issues. “I housed Remote at one point,” he said. “I can’t remember how many months he spent in my house.” He noted that they worked on several skits together during that time.

However, Rapindady expressed frustration over Mr. Remote’s change in behavior following his rise to prominence and relocation to Lagos. “Ever since Remote blew up, he stopped picking my calls. I wish he could come out to say what I did wrong,” he remarked.

He further reflected on their past closeness, emphasizing, “You stayed in my house, and I did not chase you out. You left on your own.” Rapindady indicated that he believes fame may have impacted Mr. Remote’s attitude, noting he is not the only one with similar complaints. “Anytime I call him, he keeps telling me he’s on set. That was five years ago, and after that, I stopped calling him.”
