Richmond legend Bachar Houli is in hospital following a serious car crash over the weekend.
Outlets including The Age report the retired AFL great was airlifted to a Melbourne hospital after a ute rolled over near Canberra.
It’s believed Houli, 35, sustained a broken pelvis and possibly other fractures, but he is in a stable condition.

Wide World of Sports has contacted Richmond for comment.
The Age says Houli was on a camping trip with his brother in law and another friend when a ute they were travelling in rolled down a hill.
Houli was taken by road to Albury, and then flown to Melbournet. He may need to undergo surgery on his pelvis.
Houli was a key member of Richmond’s triple-premiership team and played 206 games for the club before retiring at the end of 2021.
He also played 26 AFL games for Essendon.
