Ronaldo refuses to play farewell game with Portugal after announcing retirement

The Portuguese Football Federation (PFF) is considering organizing a tribute for the 41-year-old player. However, Ronaldo has reportedly no plans to return for one last match with the national squad.
A scheduled phone call between Ronaldo and national team coach Jorge Jesus, which was to be facilitated by PFF president Pedro Proença, was planned for today but ultimately did not occur. Sources indicate that Ronaldo is unwilling to engage in further discussions with Jesus or to play under his direction.
