‘Say, do whatever you want and deal with consequences later’ – Ex-BBNaija star, Doyin advises incoming housemates
Former Big Brother Naija Housemate Offers Advice Ahead of Season 11 Premiere
LAGOS, Nigeria — Doyin David, a former contestant on Big Brother Naija, provided insights for the upcoming housemates during a pre-show media event on Thursday.
As Season 11 of the popular reality show approaches its official launch on July 26, 2026, Doyin encouraged the new entrants to embrace authenticity. She emphasized the importance of not worrying excessively about their public image while in the house.
“My advice is simple: don’t be boring, and don’t act like furniture,” she said. “Don’t be afraid of being judged. Speak your mind and take action, even if it leads to consequences later.”
Doyin also underscored the need for self-reliance, advising the housemates to learn to enjoy their own company. “When you are in the house, you might not have many friends, so it’s essential to stand alone and avoid feelings of depression,” she added.
Organizers revealed that a record-breaking grand prize of N160 million will be awarded this season, which includes N100 million in cash and a brand-new SUV.
