Men’s Runner of the Week

Ryan Kinnane  Auburn
Sr. Wichita, Kan.

Auburn’s Ryan Kinnane won his first collegiate meet with a time of 23:19.90 at the Southern Showcase 8k. He set a personal best in a field of 304 participants that included competitors from No. 23 Alabama, Kentucky and Ole Miss.

Women’s Runner of the Week

Judy Kosgei  South Carolina
Fr. Kenya

South Carolina’s Judy Kosgei clocked the program’s first-ever sub-16 minute 5K after running 15:52.9 to best her own program record by one minute and win the Gamecock Challenge. Kosgei has now won each of her first two events.

Men’s Freshman of the Week

Ryan Olree  Georgia
Fr. Prosper, Texas

Georgia’s Ryan Olree was the top-finishing freshman at the Gamecock Challenge, placing sixth overall to score in his second collegiate meet. Olree completed the 6k in 18:10.5 to help the Bulldogs earn a perfect 15 points at Friday’s meet.

Women’s Freshman of the Week

Doris Lemngole  Alabama
Fr. Kenya

Alabama’s Doris Lemngole clocked a 16:12.10 to claim the individual crown in the women’s 5k at the Southern Showcase in her first collegiate race. Her 16:12.10 time was the second-fastest reported 5k time of the week across the conference.
