Fences Rider of the Month

Jordan Allen  South Carolina
5Y  West Bloomfield, MI
  • Allen proved to be a vital piece in Fences for the Gamecocks in November. Allen came within inches to her No. 4 ranked TAMU opponent, but then bounced back later in the day to take her point and earn an MOP in the first ever meeting with the College of Charleston.
  • The 5th year then continued her winning streak, helping South Carolina defeat No. 6 Oklahoma State with a nine-point win, securing her second MOP in a row.
  • Allen finished out the fall 7-2-1 in Fences, leading her team in wins and MOPs with an impressive 5.

Flat Rider of the Month 

Brooke Brombach  Texas A&M
Jr. Wimberley, TX
  • Brombach recorded two wins and two MOPs in the month of November.
  • Her two wins were key to the overall team success as the Aggies claimed two important SEC victories.

Co-Horsemanship Rider of the Month

Jenna Berghorst   South Carolina 
Fr. Hamilton, MI
  • Newcomer Berghorst has turned into a standout for the Gamecocks in Horsemanship, going undefeated in the month of November to finish out the fall.
  • Against the fourth-ranked Aggies of Texas A&M, Berghorst put up a season high of 76 against her opponent, the second-highest score in the event for the Gamecocks this season.
  • She continued her success against Oklahoma State, helping South Carolina take down a top-10 opponent for the third time this year with a 72.5-71 win on Paddy.
  • Berghorst rounds out the first half of the season leading her fellow Horsemanship riders in wins at 5-2-0.

Co-Horsemanship Rider of the Month

Alexia Tordoff    Auburn 
So. Powell, Ohio
  • Tordoff improved to 6-1-0 on the season with two wins on the road in November for the Tigers.
  • She kicked off the month with a 73.25-68.5 win at No. 4 Texas A&M, besting her opponent by 4.75 points.
  • She followed with an 75-74 win at No. 3 SMU.

Reining Rider of the Month

Emma Lane  South Carolina
Sr. West Jefferson, Ohio
  • Lane finished on a high note in the month of November, taking down two ranked opponents and earning back-to-back MOPs for the first time this season.
  • Her win over the No. 4 ranked Aggies helped South Carolina to their first overall Western victory against Texas A&M since 2018.
  • Lane has now collected 10 MOPs in Reining throughout the course of her career, moving her to the No. 3 spot in the South Carolina record books with the Spring campaign still to come.
