Offensive Player of the Week

Morgahn Fingall  Tennessee

Tennessee’s Morgahn Fingall, a graduate student right side hitter from Fairfax, Va., averaged 5.92 points and 4.50 kills per set and hit .351 on the week as the Lady Vols recorded two wins to open conference play this season. Fingall tallied 10 kills on a .333 hitting percentage along with four aces, three blocks and two digs in the three-set win over Missouri on Wednesday night. She then posted her second double-double of the season with 17 kills and 10 digs as well as a .361 hitting percentage and four blocks in the three-set victory at No. 22 Kentucky on Sunday, the Lady Vols’ first win over the Wildcats since 2016 and the first in Lexington since 2010.

Co-Defensive Player of the Week

Nnedi Okammor  Florida
MB • Sr. Carrollton, Texas

Florida’s Nnedi Okammor, a senior middle blocker from Carrollton, Texas, recorded 17 blocks in the wins at No. 24 Auburn and over Georgia to open the 2023 season. Okammor led the Gators in blocking in both matches, including a career-high 10 blocks against the Bulldogs on Sunday. In addition, she finished the week with nine kills and three digs.

Co-Defensive Player of the Week

Emily Beeker  Tennessee
MB • RS-So. Hendersonville, N.C.

Tennessee’s Emily Beeker, a redshirt-sophomore middle blocker from Hendersonville, N.C. averaged 1.83 blocks per set as the Lady Vols went 2-0 against Missouri and at No. 22 Kentucky. Beeker helped the Tennessee defense hold its opponents to a .111 hitting percentage with five blocks versus the Tigers and a career-high six blocks against the Wildcats. On the week, she also had eight kills on a .400 hitting percentage.

Setter of the Week

Hannah Hogue  Arkansas
S • Jr. Fort Smith, Ark.

Arkansas’ Hannah Hogue, a junior from Fort Smith, Ark., averaged 11.29 assists per set as the Razorbacks are off to a 2-0 start in conference play. Hogue began the weekend with 35 assists, 13 digs and two aces in the three-set win over South Carolina on Friday. She then led the Razorbacks to a .346 hitting percentage on 44 assists in the four-set win over Texas A&M on Sunday. Hogue led her squad to a .307 hitting percentage on the weekend and also posted 21 digs, three kills, three aces and two blocks over the two matches.

Freshman of the Week

Caroline Kerr  Tennessee
S • Fr. Champaign, Ill.

Tennessee’s Caroline Kerr, a redshirt-freshman setter from Champaign, Ill., averaged 11.00 assists per set and led the Lady Vols to a .271 team hitting percentage in the wins over Missouri and at No. 22 Kentucky. On Sunday against the Wildcats, Kerr registered 44 assists, five digs, one block and one kill. She also had 22 assists, five digs, four aces, three kills and three blocks against the Tigers on Wednesday night.
