Co-Offensive Player of the Week

Elise Goetzinger  Kentucky
MB• Sr. Blue Mounds, Wis.

Kentucky’s Elise Goetzinger, a senior middle blocker from Blue Mounds, Wis., had 12 kills and no errors on 19 swings out of the middle as UK swept No. 10 Tennessee in Knoxville. Goetzinger hit a season-high .632 on the afternoon and averaged 5.00 points a set, including four point-scoring tallies when UK was at 22 or later in sets looking to close things out. She also had a career-high four blocks in the contest.

Amina Shackelford  Mississippi State 
RS• RS-Jr.  Sanford, Fla.

Mississippi State’s Amina Shackelford, a redshirt junior right side from Sanford, Fla., recorded a season-high 18 kills on 32 attempts along with a .469 hitting percentage in Friday’s four-set victory over No. 14 Florida, the Bulldogs’ second all-time win over the Gators and the first one in Starkville. Shackelford also tallied two blocks, one assist and one ace in the victory.

Maya Sands  Missouri
L • So. Rock Falls, Ill.

Missouri’s Maya Sands, a sophomore libero from Rock Falls, Ill., averaged 5.25 digs per set in the wins over Alabama and Ole Miss this past week. Sands registered 12 digs in the sweep at Alabama and followed that with a career-high 30 digs versus Ole Miss for her ninth 20+ dig outing this season for the Tigers. She also added four assists and two aces.

Morgan Perkins  Texas A&M
MB • So. Rosharon, Texas

Texas A&M’s Morgan Perkins, a sophomore middle blocker from Rosharon, Texas, averaged 2.29 blocks per set as the Aggie defense held their opponents to a conference-best .115 hitting percentage this past weekend. Perkins tied her season best with seven total blocks in the four-set win at LSU Friday, and then surpassed that mark with nine in the sweep against South Carolina on Sunday.

Setter of the Week

Emma Grome  Kentucky
S • Jr. Loveland, Ohio

Kentucky’s Emma Grome, a junior from Loveland, Ohio, averaged 13.75 assists per set and led the UK offense to a .331 hitting percentage over two wins this past weekend. Grome had 50+ assists in both matches, becoming the eighth player in Kentucky Volleyball history to record 3,000 career assists. She had 110 assists on the weekend, with 57 assists Friday night at Missouri and 53 assists versus Ole Miss. Grome aced her opponents three times and she had 10+ digs in both matches, tallying her second and third double-doubles of the season.

Co-Freshman of the Week

Brooklyn DeLeye  Kentucky
OH • Fr. Topeka, Kan.

Kentucky’s Brooklyn DeLeye, a freshman outside hitter from Topeka, Kan., recorded a team-high 13 kills on 30 swings, a .367 hitting percentage along with eight digs, one assist and one ace in the win at No. 10 Tennessee Sunday. DeLeye has now contributed 10+ kills in five consecutive matches for the Wildcats and six of UK’s last seven contests.

Co-Freshman of the Week

Sierra Dudley  Missouri
S • Fr. Spartanburg, S.C.

Missouri’s Sierra Dudley, a freshman setter from Spartanburg, S.C., averaged 13.38 assists and 2.63 digs per set in the wins over Alabama and Ole Miss this past week. Dudley totaled 47 assists, eight digs and three blocks against the Crimson Tide as Mizzou hit a season-best .354. She then tallied her seventh double-double on the season with a career-high 60 assists and 12 digs versus the Rebels, marking her 10th 40+ assist performance of the season.
