Shatta Wale bailed Burna Boy from Ghana prison after arrest for smoking weed – Captan

Ghanaian Singer Claims Shatta Wale Helped Free Burna Boy from Arrest
In a recent podcast interview, Ghanaian singer Captan alleged that his former record label boss, Shatta Wale, once intervened to secure the release of Nigerian artist Burna Boy from police custody in Ghana. Captan stated that Burna Boy was allegedly arrested for marijuana possession.
Captan recounted that Shatta Wale instructed him and others to assist in getting Burna Boy released. He further claimed that Shatta Wale and his associates provided temporary shelter for Burna Boy when he faced threats from unknown individuals.
“We helped him settle the case when he was in trouble,” Captan said. “At one point, I bailed Burna Boy out of prison in Ghana.”
However, he noted that he and Burna Boy’s relationship has deteriorated following Burna Boy’s fallout with Shatta Wale. Despite this, Captan expressed willingness for reconciliation, stating that both he and Shatta Wale would consider mending ties with Burna Boy if he reached out.
