Nollywood actress and producer Bimpe Akintunde has publicly confirmed the end of her marriage to Ganiyu.

In an announcement shared on her Instagram account on Friday, Akintunde reflected on the challenges of her recent life, describing her decision as the culmination of careful consideration, prayer, and discussions with close family members.

“Some chapters end quietly… but they prepare you for a stronger, more beautiful story ahead,” she wrote, emphasizing the importance of sharing her truth after having previously shared her happiness with the public.

Akintunde noted that her marriage, which lasted less than three years and preceded the birth of her second child from a previous relationship, took unexpected turns. She acknowledged the difficulties she faced, stating, “It wasn’t easy. It came with lessons, tears, strength, and growth.”

Despite these challenges, Akintunde affirmed her commitment to faith and personal healing. “Today, I stand not broken, but rebuilt. Not defeated, but refined,” she expressed, underscoring her role as a mother to her daughters and her hope for the future.
