Sowore blasts Tinubu over insecurity after Oyo school attack

Human rights activist and former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore has once again criticized President Bola Ahmed Tinubu regarding the worsening security situation in Nigeria. His comments follow reports of the killing of a teacher who was abducted during a school attack in Oyo State.
Sowore made his remarks in a statement shared on his official social media accounts. He referenced previous warnings he issued during the 2023 election campaign, wherein he cautioned the public about the potential dangers of Tinubu’s leadership.
“During the 2023 election season, I appeared on Agidigbo FM 88.7 and warned Nigerians, particularly the Yoruba community, about the disastrous consequences that Bola Ahmed Tinubu would bring to the country. Sadly, many refused to listen,” he stated.
He added, “I also spoke on Miliki 101.3 FM in Lagos, reiterating my concerns, but many callers insisted I should stop talking.”
“Now look at what ‘Emilokan’ has done to you all. Tinubu is a disaster!” Sowore declared.
He concluded with a note regarding a photo that reportedly shows the mathematics teacher pleading for his life after being captured by bandits who had raided the secondary school in Oyo State, leading to his abduction and eventual killing.
