Transfer: Nigerian midfielder set to join Greek club Aris FC
Nigerian midfielder Tom Dele-Bashiru is poised to join Greek club Aris FC on a permanent transfer, according to reports from DAILY POST.
Greek sports website ATHLOS has confirmed that Aris has reached an agreement with Sky Bet Championship club Watford for the young midfielder, valued at €1.5 million.
The 26-year-old is scheduled to arrive in Thessaloniki on Thursday, where he is expected to sign a three-year contract with the Greek team.
Last season, Dele-Bashiru was loaned to Turkish Super Lig side Gençlerbirliği, where he made 30 league appearances and recorded one assist.
Dele-Bashiru originally joined Watford from Premier League club Manchester City in 2019. During his time with Watford, he made 81 appearances across all competitions, scoring eight goals and providing four assists.
