Troops, NDLEA arrest nine suspected drug peddlers in Delta

Troops from the 90 Amphibious Battalion, working alongside operatives from the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), arrested nine individuals suspected of drug trafficking in Sapele Local Government Area, Delta State. The arrests occurred around 11:40 p.m. on September 26, 2026, during an operation in Oghara community.

During the operation, authorities seized multiple items, including 13 sachets of 100mg Tramadol, one carton of Codeine, two cartons of cough syrup, 25 grams of suspected cannabis, and 25 sachets containing cannabis-cake recipe.

The suspects and the confiscated substances were subsequently transferred to the NDLEA office in Sapele for further investigation and action.
