Troops neutralize two bandits in Kaduna

Two bandits have been killed by troops of Operation Forest Sanity in Birnin Gwari Area of Kaduna state.

Kaduna Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan said a gunfight ensued after troops embarked on the clearance patrol along Birnin Gwari-Doka-Sabon Layi-Kuriga-Maganda-Farin Ruwa road.

The troops who made contact with the bandits at Farin Ruwa neutralized two bandits during the encounter, while others were forced to withdraw following the troops’ superior firepower.

Kaduna State Government which received the development with satisfaction, commended the troops for another successful round of operations as clearance and fighting patrols continue in the general area.
