Turkey: Osimhen dedicates Galatasaray’s derby victory to Okan Buruk

The Yellow and Reds defeated their rivals, Fenerbahçe, 2-1 in a highly anticipated intercontinental derby at RAMS Park on Saturday.

Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen was the standout performer, scoring both goals for the Yellow and Reds in a fiercely contested match. With these two goals, Osimhen has now netted three times in his last two appearances for Galatasaray.

After the victory, Osimhen dedicated the win to head coach Okan Buruk, who recently celebrated his 53rd birthday. “We love our coach Okan Buruk very much,” Osimhen said, according to Sporx. “Beyond being our technical director, we see him as a father figure. He’s an exceptional person both on and off the field. We aimed to give him victories against both Lille and Fenerbahçe, and we accomplished that.”
