Turkey: Osimhen extends scoring streak as Galatasaray thrash Konyaspor away

Galatasaray secured a decisive victory in their latest match, with Nigeria international Victor Osimhen opening the scoring in the 12th minute. Osimhen now boasts a record of nine goals and three assists in eight league appearances this season for the Turkish side.

The 27-year-old forward was substituted for Deniz Gul one minute after the hour mark. Alongside Osimhen, Yunus Akgün, Aleksey Batrakov, and Rafael Leão contributed to Galatasaray’s impressive tally with additional goals in the match.

Konyaspor’s lineup included Nigerian defender Chidozie Awaziem, who played the entirety of the game. Following this victory, Galatasaray will prepare for their upcoming UEFA Champions League matchup against VfB Stuttgart next Tuesday.
