UCL Final: Why PSG have more motivation to beat Arsenal – Enrique

PSG Manager Claims Team More Motivated Than Arsenal Ahead of Champions League Final
BUDAPEST — Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique expressed confidence that his team possesses a greater motivation to win the UEFA Champions League than their opponents, Arsenal. He cited PSG’s hunger to defend their title as a driving force ahead of the final scheduled for Saturday evening.
Enrique’s squad aims to make history by becoming only the second team to successfully defend their Champions League title in the tournament’s modern era. They will face Arsenal, which is pursuing its first Champions League trophy.
During a pre-match press conference, Enrique acknowledged Arsenal’s aspirations, saying, “Yes, that is powerful, but you know how powerful trying to win the second one in a row is?” He emphasized the significance of retaining the title, asserting, “It’s bigger. So we are ahead.”
Both PSG and Arsenal reached the final by overcoming strong rivals in the semi-finals, with PSG defeating Bayern Munich and Arsenal triumphing over Atletico Madrid.
