VeryDarkMan addresses viral mosque assault linking him to alleged religious plot

Commentator Denies Allegations Following Viral Video

Martins Vincent Otse, a social media commentator widely known as VeryDarkMan, has rejected allegations stemming from a viral video that suggests he sponsored a religious narrative designed to incite tension between Christians and Muslims in Nigeria.

The video in question depicts a young man being questioned and assaulted after allegedly entering a mosque to pray. Eyewitness accounts in the video claim that the man, perceived as an outsider, was confronted due to his behavior. Following an intense interrogation, he reportedly confessed that he is a Christian backed by the Deeper Life Bible Church, the Christian Association of Nigeria, and Otse himself.

In response to the emergent claims, Otse stated, “I will like to clarify that these allegations are NOT true. I have never met the young man in my life and have never sponsored any religious propaganda.”

He emphasized his commitment to peace, asserting, “I will never do anything that will cause mayhem or anything that will lead to loss of lives.”

Additionally, Otse has offered one million Naira for information regarding the individual in the video.
