Former Pedicurist Accuses Wasiu Ayinde of Denying Paternity

Ogechi, a former pedicurist for renowned Nigerian musician Wasiu Ayinde, also known as K1 De Ultimate, has publicly accused the artist of denying paternity of their teenage daughter.

In an interview with Feel Rightnews aired on Tuesday, Ogechi claimed that Ayinde pressured her to terminate her pregnancy during their seven-year relationship before she became pregnant.

Ogechi described her experience of approaching community leaders when she felt compelled to reveal her situation. “When my daughter was about a year old, I went to Kabiru Agbabiaka’s palace to share my story,” she recounted. “He then contacted Wasiu, but he denied everything.”

She continued, saying that upon meeting Ayinde’s mother, the elder woman’s emotional reaction suggested she recognized the child’s resemblance to the family. Ogechi stated, “His mother shed tears when she saw the baby.”

Despite the singer’s reported denial, Ogechi affirmed that he is the father of her daughter, Azizat. “He told me he was not interested in keeping the baby and suggested I abort it,” she claimed, adding that Ayinde never provided the promised financial assistance for the procedure.

During the interview, Ogechi expressed her frustration and urged Ayinde to take responsibility.

Azizat, the teenage daughter, also addressed the situation, stating, “My name is Azizat, Tiwalade, Aduke, Serena Ayinde Marshall. I’m the daughter of K1 De Ultimate and Ogechi Amaozu. I’ve heard my father is wealthy, but I don’t feel that support. After our last encounter on July 30, 2025, he denied us. I plan to write a song and share my story with the world.”
