Dele Momodu Discusses Ongoing Child Custody Negotiations

Dele Momodu, a prominent Nigerian politician and the publisher of Ovation Magazine, confirmed that discussions are underway with the family of singer Davido regarding a legal dispute involving Davido’s first child’s mother, Sophia Momodu.

Momodu’s comments come amid public appeals for him to intervene in the ongoing child custody battle. Sophia Momodu is Dele Momodu’s niece.

Reports indicate that Davido recently withdrew the custody case, following comments made by Sophia’s attorney that referenced the circumstances surrounding the death of Davido’s late son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.

While in Liberia to express condolences to former Vice President Jewel Howard-Taylor over the death of her only child, Dele Momodu assured the public that efforts are being made to resolve the matter amicably.

“Nothing to worry about. Everything is going to be alright. We’re working behind the scenes. Please, keep everyone in your prayers,” he stated.
