Nigerian Music Star 2Baba Reflects on Personal and Professional Mistakes

Nigerian music artist Innocent Idibia, widely known as 2Baba, recently discussed his regrets and missteps during an appearance on the “Mic On” podcast.

The veteran singer, who has six children, admitted to regrets over decisions in both his career and personal life. He expressed a desire to change certain choices and manage moments differently.

2Baba also addressed a notable incident that occurred in London, where an argument with his wife, Natasha Osawaru, escalated, resulting in his arrest in October 2025. He took responsibility for his actions, describing the episode as a moment of anger that spiraled out of control.

“I was angry that day. It was an unfortunate incident,” he said, acknowledging the challenges of handling personal pressures and emphasizing lessons learned from difficult experiences.

Reflecting on his life, 2Baba noted that emotional influences can affect decision-making. “There are so many things I wish I could rewind and do better. As a human being, there are times when you are overwhelmed or don’t make the best decisions. My thick skin is weaker now,” he said.
