Nigerian actor Zubby Michael recently announced a significant donation of N10.2 million, which he described as a “tithe” to those in need. In an interview with Broadway TV, Michael stated that the amount represents 10 percent of the N102 million he has earned from recent movie roles.

Michael clarified that he chose to make this donation directly to the needy rather than to a church, as he does not regularly attend services. He expressed his personal beliefs about tithing, indicating that he does not subscribe to the practice of giving to churches.

“Not to brag, but I am the richest actor,” he said. “The last time I checked my book, I realized that I have made N102 million from my artist’s fees lately, not throughout my entire career, but just recently.”

Michael’s charitable contribution highlights his perspective on tithing and his approach to philanthropy.
