Nigerian influencer and entrepreneur Waris Olayinka Akinwande, known as Ola of Lagos, has shared insights into his choice to continue living in a rented apartment despite owning several properties.
During a recent appearance on the KK Show, Ola disclosed that he has never spent a night in any of the homes he has purchased. He expressed concerns that residing in his own house might lead to complacency.
Instead, he emphasized that living in a rented space serves as motivation for him to work harder. Ola revealed that he pays an annual rent of 50 million Naira, stating, “I use that pain to keep grinding harder.”
He reiterated his commitment to maintaining a strong work ethic, highlighting that even in his luxurious surroundings, he prefers the challenges associated with renting.
