Why people should have many children – Korede Bello

Nigerian singer Korede Bello has urged couples to consider having more children, arguing that increasing the number of births could enhance the likelihood of producing talented individuals.

In a recent video message, Bello reflected on the life of the late music icon Michael Jackson, who was the seventh of his parents’ children. He suggested that Jackson might not have been born if his parents chose to have fewer children.

Bello expressed concern over the trend of many couples opting for one child or none, emphasizing the need for more musical talent in the world. “I have been wondering — what if Michael Jackson’s mother had stopped at two or six kids? He was the seventh. Imagine a world without him just because she chose fewer children,” he stated.

He lamented the rarity of large families in contemporary society, noting that it is becoming increasingly unusual to find young couples with three children.

“Understanding that economic factors influence family size is important, but how do we move forward? Will we ever return to a time when homes are filled with children again? We need more Michael Jacksons,” Bello added.
