Kaka Highlights Neymar’s Role in Brazil’s World Cup Aspirations
Former Real Madrid and AC Milan player Kaka has emphasized Neymar’s significance to Brazil’s national football team as they prepare for their upcoming World Cup match against Morocco on Saturday.
Speaking on Rio Ferdinand’s “Rio Meets Podcast,” Kaka praised Neymar for his ability to support younger teammates. He reflected on their shared experiences with the national team, asserting that Neymar’s presence is vital if he is physically fit.
“I love Neymar. We played together in the national team, and we are friends. If he’s ready, and in good physical condition, I think he’ll be very, very important for Brazil,” Kaka stated. “He’s always supporting the team, tries to help the young players, and is a very good teammate.”
Neymar, currently recovering from injury, last appeared for Brazil in 2023.
