Yinka Quadri reveals what Ogogo told him at the hospital before his death

Yinka Quadri, a prominent actor and close friend of the late Ogogo, reflected on their final moments together prior to Ogogo’s passing. Ogogo, who succumbed to stage 4 cancer, died on Sunday, with his burial taking place the following day in his hometown of Ilaro, Ogun State.

At Ogogo’s funeral, Quadri was visibly emotional, and he later shared details about their last conversation in a heartfelt Instagram post. He described Ogogo as “my twin brother from heaven,” emphasizing the deep bond they shared.

Quadri recounted how, just hours before Ogogo’s death, he tried to comfort him during his hospitalization. “I could not hold back my tears when I saw you,” Quadri wrote, expressing his sorrow. “You looked at me and said, ‘Yinka, don’t cry. Nothing bad will happen to me.’ I responded, ‘Yes, Amen,’” he added.

In his recollection, Quadri detailed a moment when Ogogo asked for a bottle of water. After drinking, Ogogo confirmed to Quadri that he had eaten earlier that day, a statement validated by the attending doctors. “At that moment, I said ‘glory be to God.’ My hope and faith became even stronger,” Quadri stated, though he noted that the medical team advised them to remain prayerful.

Quadri’s reflections underscored the profound friendship they shared, as he continues to mourn the loss of his friend.
