‘You cannot erase my experiences’ — Fola Tinubu speaks on Lizzy Anjorin

Fola Tinubu, the former wife of the husband of Nollywood actress Lizzy Anjorin, has publicly addressed what she describes as years of bullying, threats, and emotional distress. In a detailed Instagram post, she stated her resolve not to remain silent amid these challenges.

Tinubu, a mother of four, recounted her reaction to her former husband’s marriage to Anjorin in 2020, claiming she learned of the union online while her second child was just three months old. She expressed difficulties in reaching her former husband for support during this time.

In her post, Tinubu alleged that she endured online harassment and threats amounting to N10 million, leading her to leave an apartment rented for her by her former husband. She further claimed that Anjorin questioned the paternity of her children, which prompted her to seek legal recourse.

Regarding the dispute over DNA testing, Tinubu indicated that she undertook legal measures but was disappointed by her former husband’s absence during the process. She noted ongoing court cases in both Lagos and Abuja.

Tinubu emphasized that her motivations are not rooted in a desire to reclaim her former partner but revolve around preserving her dignity, ensuring her children’s welfare, and seeking justice.

“You may be able to tell your side of the story, but I also have a story to tell. You cannot erase my experiences by presenting yourself as the only victim,” she wrote, asserting her intention to pursue the matter legally.

“I stand by my words, I stand for my children, and I believe that justice will prevail,” she concluded.
