LAGOS, Nigeria — Renowned music producer and executive Michael Collins Ajereh, widely known as Don Jazzy, recently shared insights on the complexities of fame during an appearance on the “Keeping It Real With Jima” podcast.
In the episode, Don Jazzy expressed his concerns about vocalizing any negatives associated with his success. He stated that he is hesitant to complain due to a belief that such expressions could lead to a possible loss of his blessings.
When asked about the aspects of success he might not have wished for, Don Jazzy responded, “I like everything that God gave me… there are times you wish some things were different. But I’m not wishing for anything different; I just think about how God might decide to adjust my life,” he said, punctuating his reflection with a laugh.
The Mavin Records founder also mentioned his aspirations for the future, indicating a desire for greater financial resources. He emphasized his goal of impacting more lives, highlighting that current financial constraints limit his ambitions.
