NASS: APC members storm ward collation for primaries
APC Members Participate in House of Representatives Primaries Across Osun State

Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) gathered on Saturday in various political wards throughout Osun State to participate in the party’s House of Representatives primaries.
The event commenced around noon in all 30 local government areas, with supporters of various candidates awaiting the arrival of the primary committee.
At the Ward 3 Apoun collation center in Osogbo, party members formed lines to register their support for their respective aspirants. Similarly, at Ward 8 in Olorunda, individuals congregated in anticipation of the committee’s arrival to initiate the process.
Kehinde Lawal, the APC youth leader in Ward 8, expressed confidence that the primaries would proceed without incident, despite heightened tensions between supporters of contenders Ibrahim Taofeek and Afees Durojaiye.
“Once the committee gets to the venue, the exercise will kick off, and I can assure you that it will be peaceful,” Lawal stated.
The primaries mark a significant event in the political calendar as the party seeks to solidify its candidates ahead of the electoral contests.
