EPL: Arsenal could be confirmed champions after Bournemouth vs Man City clash

Arsenal Nears Premier League Title Following Win Over Burnley

Arsenal is on the brink of being crowned Premier League champions, potentially securing the title as soon as Tuesday night.

The Gunners moved closer to their first league title in 22 years after a narrow 1-0 victory against Burnley on Monday. The decisive goal came from Kai Havertz, who netted with a header in the first half.

With only one match remaining in the season, a trip to Crystal Palace, Arsenal currently holds a five-point lead over second-place Manchester City.

City is scheduled to face Bournemouth on Tuesday, a match critical for both teams as Bournemouth seeks to qualify for European competitions next season.

If Manchester City fails to secure a win at the Vitality Stadium, Arsenal will be confirmed as champions.

Since the start of the 2022-23 season, Arsenal has spent a total of 556 nights atop the Premier League table, significantly outpacing Liverpool, which has held the top position for 355 nights during the same period.
