Suspected bandits kill two, abduct pregnant woman, five others in Bauchi
Gunmen Attack Bauchi Village, Two Killed and Five Abducted
RAFIN CIYAWA, Bauchi State — Two people were killed and five others, including a pregnant woman, were abducted during an attack by suspected bandits in Rafin Ciyawa village, located in the Ningi Local Government Area, on Sunday night.
Security analyst Bakatsine reported the incident on social media platform X, stating that the assailants targeted the village, resulting in the deaths and abductions. In addition to the fatalities, four residents sustained injuries. Two of the injured have since been discharged from the hospital, while the other two remain under treatment for gunshot wounds.
Local authorities have confirmed the incident and are reportedly taking measures to address the crisis. The attack has left families of the abducted individuals, particularly the pregnant woman, in distress as they await news of their loved ones’ return.
