Super Falcons to Begin Camp in Morocco Ahead of WAFCON Title Defense
The Super Falcons of Nigeria will set up training camp in Mohammedia, Morocco, starting July 15, as they prepare to defend their title at the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
The team will spend one week in Mohammedia before relocating to Rabat for the Group C matches. Head coach Justine Madugu is expected to announce the final squad for the tournament prior to the team’s departure for Morocco.
In preparation, the Super Falcons secured victories against Senegal in two friendly matches last month.
As they embark on this campaign, Nigeria seeks to claim a record-extending 11th title in WAFCON history.
The Super Falcons will commence their tournament on July 28 against Malawi at Al Madina Stadium in Rabat. Their second match is scheduled against Zambia on August 1, followed by a group stage finale against Egypt at the Olympic Stadium in Rabat on August 5.
