NPFL: Shooting Stars end winless run with victory over Ranchers Bees
Shooting Stars broke a five-match winless streak in the Nigeria Premier Football League with a significant 3-1 victory over Ranchers Bees on Saturday.
The much-needed win alleviated pressure on Shooting Stars’ technical adviser, Salisu Yusuf, as the Oluyole Warriors celebrated their first league triumph in over a month.
Desmond Ojietefian opened the scoring for Shooting Stars in the 14th minute, but Ranchers Bees equalized seven minutes before halftime through Isah Ndala Aliyu, leveling the match at 1-1.
