Bandit Commander Kachalla Sani Yellow Killed in Zamfara Security Operation
ANOTHER, ZAMFARA — Kachalla Sani Yellow, a prominent bandit commander, was killed during a security operation in the Anka Local Government Area of Zamfara State. Authorities have confirmed that Yellow was linked to numerous attacks along the Anka–Bagega Road.
His death occurred during an armed confrontation with the Maiduguri Special Vigilantes, who were assisting in ongoing counter-banditry efforts in the region. Following the operation, Yellow’s body was displayed to local residents as verification of his demise.
This operation is part of an intensified security initiative in the Anka–Bagega–Gummi corridor, where security forces, in cooperation with local vigilante groups, have reported several recent successes against armed bandits.
Officials anticipate that this development will strengthen ongoing efforts to combat banditry and enhance security in various parts of Zamfara State.
