Former Super Eagles Defender Leon Balogun Signs with Győri ETO FC

Former Super Eagles defender Leon Balogun has secured a free transfer to Hungarian champions Győri ETO FC, official sources confirmed. The 38-year-old center-back signed a one-year contract with the team, managed by Efraín Juárez.

Last season, Balogun played for Cypriot club Aris Limassol, where he made 22 appearances, scoring two goals and providing one assist. Balogun began his professional career in Germany, representing notable clubs such as Hannover, Werder Bremen, and Mainz.

In addition to his time in Germany, Balogun played in the Premier League for Brighton & Hove Albion and in Scotland for Rangers.
