Rescue teams in Gaza began their efforts early Wednesday to locate survivors following the collapse of a multi-storey residential building in western Gaza City. Local eyewitnesses and Palestinian journalists reported that six families are believed to be trapped beneath the rubble.

The sound of children’s cries for help echoed from beneath the concrete as civil defense personnel worked diligently to reach those trapped inside.
One video captured the moment when a young girl was pulled alive from the wreckage, alongside other survivors, including several children who appeared breathless. Emergency responders quickly transported them to hospitals, but it remains unclear how many casualties may have occurred in the incident.
