At least two individuals were injured in a multi-vehicle accident involving two container trucks and three other vehicles in the Apostolic area of Lagos State on Thursday.

The collision included two 40-foot containerized trucks, as confirmed by the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA).

A video shared on LASTMA’s official account on X showed agency personnel, alongside the Lagos Neighbourhood Safety Corps and police officers, managing the scene after the incident.

In a statement released with the video, LASTMA reported that two individuals suffered injuries of varying severity.

“A multiple-vehicle crash involving two 40-foot containerized trucks and three other vehicles occurred at Apostolic, inward Alapere, resulting in two reported casualties,” the agency stated.

The scene was secured to prevent further accidents, as LASTMA officials worked to control traffic and coordinate the recovery of the vehicles involved.
