Emir of Zazzau confirms Isiaka Abdulrazaq as Tafidan Yamman Zazzau

Emir of Zazzau Appoints New Tafidan Yamman
The Emir of Zazzau, Ahmed Huh Bamalli, has officially appointed Mallam Isiaka Abdulrazaq as the new Tafidan Yamman Zazzau. The confirmation was made in a letter dated October 7, 2026, from the Zazzau Emirate Council, signed by Magatakardan Zazzau, Yusuf Abubakar Hayat.
Abdulrazaq brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having retired in 2019 as Chief Financial Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC). Prior to his tenure at NNPC, he served as Executive Director of Finance and Accounts at the National Electric Power Authority, which is now known as the Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN).
He is the son of the late Alhaji A.G.F. Abdulrazaq, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria and the former Tafidan Zazzau.
Following the announcement, the Emir and members of the Emirate Council congratulated Abdulrazaq on his appointment and expressed their confidence in his capability to fulfill the responsibilities associated with the position.
