INEC appoints Adelusi as Ondo Administrative Secretary

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has appointed Temitayo Victoria Adelusi as the new Administrative Secretary for Ondo State. This appointment follows the redeployment of the previous Administrative Secretary, Adenike Tadese, to Lagos State.

The transition was announced on Monday afternoon during a farewell gathering attended by INEC management and staff in Ondo State, who gathered to honor Tadese before her departure for her new role.

Dr. Mutiu Agboke, the Resident Electoral Commissioner, led the farewell event and referred to Tadese’s reassignment as a standard procedure within public service. He praised her professionalism and contributions to INEC during her tenure, calling her “one of the finest Administrative Secretaries I have worked with.” Agboke wished her success in her new position in Lagos, encouraging her to uphold the professional standards that garnered her respect among colleagues.

Stella Dike, the Head of Legal Services, commended Tadese’s meticulous administrative style and highlighted her thoroughness and attention to detail. Dike noted that Tadese’s knowledge and experience had significantly benefited both the Commission and its staff. She added that Tadese’s kindness and calm demeanor would be missed in the Ondo office.

In her remarks, Tadese expressed gratitude for her time with INEC, noting that the redeployment was unexpected. She thanked the staff in Ondo State for their cooperation, which she credited with making her year in the position memorable. Tadese also acknowledged Agboke for maintaining a positive working relationship throughout her tenure.
