Former Big Brother Naija Contestant Aims for Entertainment Career

Former Big Brother Naija contestant Adeoluwa Okusaga, known publicly as Saga, has disclosed that his participation in the reality show was a strategic move to launch his entertainment career.

In a recent interview with Channels TV, Saga explained that while he is trained as an engineer, his colleagues encouraged him to pursue the show after recognizing his potential in entertainment.

“I went to Big Brother Naija to launch my career as an entertainer. I am an engineer. My colleagues at work begged me to go for Big Brother Nigeria; they believed I would excel,” said Saga.

He emphasized the creativity inherent in engineering, suggesting that skills developed in the field can translate well to entertainment. “As an engineer, you must have a powerful imagination, understanding, and skill. Many artists, including the likes of Da Vinci, were engineers because the disciplines often complement each other,” he added.

Saga participated in Season 6 of the Big Brother Naija reality show in 2021, where he was evicted in the ninth week. Since then, he has embarked on an acting career, appearing in numerous films.
