‘Album no blow, wedding no blow’ — VDM mocks Zlatan amid feud speculation
Social media activist known as VeryDarkMan, or VDM, has publicly criticized rapper Zlatan Ibile regarding the reception of his recent album and wedding, raising questions about a potential rift between the two.
In a post on his social media account, VDM expressed skepticism about the success of Zlatan’s latest song, stating he would be disappointed if it did not maintain the top position on Apple Music for an entire month. “Person wey do a whole wedding because he won promote him album, album no blow, wedding no blow,” he wrote.
VDM further commented on the limited online engagement surrounding the wedding, noting that posts from blogs failed to generate significant interaction. “All the blogs that posted the wedding, no one entered 5k comments. All the PR, Vincent everywhere. If that song no stay No. 1 for one month, e go pain me,” he added.
This exchange follows speculation among listeners that Zlatan referenced VDM in a collaborative song featuring Peruzzi and Shoday. In the track, Zlatan raps, “I no be Vincent, I no fit masturbate,” which some fans have interpreted as a nod to VDM, whose first name is Vincent.
