The first round of negotiations between the United States and Iran concluded with both parties establishing a framework aimed at finalizing a comprehensive agreement within the next 60 days.
Iran has indicated that the discussions led to provisions allowing for waivers on oil exports and the release of certain frozen assets. Additionally, both sides have agreed to implement a “de-confliction cell” to oversee and maintain the ceasefire in Lebanon.
The outcome of these talks represents a significant step in the ongoing efforts to address longstanding tensions between the two nations. Further developments are expected in the coming weeks as representatives work towards a conclusive deal.
