EPL: Jamie Redknapp names Arsenal’s biggest title rivals after Man City defeat

Former England midfielder Jamie Redknapp has identified Brighton & Hove Albion as a potential contender to challenge Arsenal for the Premier League title this season.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Redknapp suggested that Arsenal is poised to establish a commanding lead in the title race. Following a 1-0 victory over Hull City on Saturday and Manchester City’s 3-1 defeat at Nottingham Forest, the Gunners opened a six-point gap at the top of the table. This loss marked City’s third consecutive defeat in the league.
Brighton can leapfrog City into second place if they secure a win against Brentford on Sunday. Redknapp noted the impact of injuries on Manchester City, specifically mentioning the absence of Semenyo, a key player in their attacking lineup. Despite this setback, he acknowledged that the team still possesses talent capable of creating chances.
Analyzing the current league standings, Redknapp described Brighton as the team to watch, stating, “I never thought I’d say this at the start of the year, but it’s Brighton.”
