Nathaniel Bassey reacts to death of gospel singer, Toluwanisings

Nigerian gospel singer and pastor Nathaniel Bassey has expressed his condolences following the death of fellow music minister Toluwanisings.
Toluwanisings reportedly collapsed and died Wednesday after being refused treatment at eight different hospitals, according to Daily Post.
In light of the circumstances surrounding his passing, social media users have criticized the government for the country’s inadequate healthcare system. Some have suggested that his death may be linked to a spiritual attack.
Bassey, who noted he had never met Toluwanisings but had heard of his impactful music ministry, shared his thoughts in an Instagram post on Friday. He conveyed his sadness over the loss and emphasized his belief that Toluwanisings is now at peace in a better place.
“Seeing and hearing about the passing of this brother, Tolusings, is always painful, especially to see young people pass at their prime,” Bassey wrote. “As a child of God, we believe he is in a better place. I pray for strength and comfort for his immediate family, friends, and loved ones. It is well, in Jesus’ name.”
